This is to notify the general populace and concerned individuals that the management of the University of Uyo, UNIUYO, has commenced sales of the UNIUYO JUPEB Admission Form/Basic Studies Form for the 2019/2020 Academic Session.

In lieu of this, the management invites interested and eligible candidates to apply for admission into its Basic Studies programme (JUPEB) by taking the UNIUYO JUPEB Admission Form/Basic Studies Form for the 2019/2020 Academic Session.

General Information on the UNIUYO JUPEB Admission Form/Basic Studies Form for the 2019/2020 Academic Session

After successful completion of the Basic Studies programme (JUPEB) candidates will be admitted to 200 Level into the University of Uyo provided they pass the JUPEB examination and meet up with the criteria for admission of their desired courses.

Candidates do not need to take JAMB before they can apply for this programme.

Candidates who took the 2019 JAMB are also eligible to apply for their will be no supplementary application for this programme.

Requirements to take the UNIUYO JUPEB Admission Form/Basic Studies Form 2019/2020 Academic Session

All candidates interested in taking the admission form must have five credit (5) passes in relevant O’Level subjects including English and Mathematics at the maximum of two (2) sittings.

Relevant O’level Subjects are:

English Language,
Mathematics,
Chemistry,
Physics,
Biology,
Geography, Economics,
Literature in English and Government.

How to take the UNIUYO JUPEB Admission Form/Basic Studies Form for the 2019/2020 Academic Session

Interested and eligible candidates are to pay the sum of N15, 500 (Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Naira) only via the online REMITA platform.

To make payment, just follow the listed steps below:

1. Visit https://uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals/
2. Select Admission Forms Link
3. Select e-Form(s) Option
4. Select Basic Studies as the Admission Form Type
5. Enter your Phone Number, Name and Email
6. Click the PAY NOW button to make payment
7. Payment can be make online or Bank branch
8. After having made payment, return to the online portal
9. Click on Register Link to complete your registration

Please note that you are requested to use the same passport photograph used for the online registration for the screening exercise alongside the registration after you have been offered provisional admission.

Ensure you fill correctly all your details as no complaints whatsoever will be entertained after submission.
You will be automatically disqualified if you up-load wrong bio-data

For the screening exercise, you’re requested to come with the following:

a) A coloured copy of your duly completed University of Uyo 2018 ONLINE registration form which has your passport-size photograph.

b) Two (2) latest passport-size photographs on red background. The passports must be the same you used while you were filling your registration form. Your signature and name you should be on the reverse side of the photograph. You are to nearly package theses in a quarto- size envelope and label it with your name and department’s.

c) HB pencil, eraser and sharpener.

Please do not bring four-figure tables, calculators, GSM handsets or any other extraneous materials into the screening halls.
