UNIUYO Bans Use of Wristwatches During Exams, See Why.
The authorities of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) have officially banned the usage of wristwatches in the examination hall by students.
In accordance with a special release dated May 20 and signed by Prof. Enoidem Usoro, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) Prof. Enoidem Usoro, the prohibition of the usage of wristwatches to examination halls shall take effect fully from the 1st semester Examinations of the 2018/2019 academic session that is set to commence soon.
Although there is no official announcement for the reasons for the banning of usage of wristwatches in the examination hall by students, it is likely to be related to a measure put in place by the management to curb examination malpractices.
All students of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO) are to take note of this published notice and should not go against the order of the authorities of the institution.
