UNIBEN Offers Admission to 11,772 out of 75,000 2018/2019 Candidates.
Only 11,772 out of the total 75,000 applicants that applied for admission into the prestigious University of Benin for the 2018/2019 academic session were offered admission.
Prof. Faraday Orumwense, the Vice Chancellor of the University made this known to the general populace during the matriculation for the 2018/2019 academic session that took place at the weekend.
While speaking at the matriculation ceremony, he enjoined the students to shun all vices such as prostitution, cultism and many others.
He added saying that the institution as a citadel of learning has no tolerance for vices and any student who is caught in such will be expelled.
He further advised the fresh students to stay focused in their a academic pursuit and do not patronize examination malpractices as such could also lead to expulsion.
