A grand duplex in the heart of the city, well painted and furnished with expensive fixtures. Well designed spiral railings with sixty steps in the living room leading to the other compartments up the stairs. Miracle seemed to fancy houses as he had earlier boasted to Tony.

Immediately they all got to the apartment, they loved it. Tony ordered for a beautiful artwork from a famous artist in the city which would be the centre of attraction in the living room.
Several days passed during which they planned their next course of action.

Time seemed to be against them as they felt the need to make hasty and excessive decisions. Timi and Tony were to go to the village in disguise and abduct the princess. At first, it seemed to Grace like it was a rash decision. However, as she was getting more impatient to taking the throne, she agreed with the others.

In the late evening, Timi and Tony set out, as Grace and Miracle set themselves to the task of making necessary arrangements according to their plan.

The princess seemed to be expecting the worse as she had increased the security in her quarters. She had guards on standby at every corner of the quarters and some other guards patrolling the quarters in a group.

Peeping from across the low fence of the quarters, they saw the tight security. “It seems the princess hasn’t been in peace with herself.” Tony said. Timi’s mouth curved. “I’ll take on the guards on standby and get the princess. You can take the ones patrolling” she said as Tony nodded in agreement.

They took different directions, unnoticed. Timi carefully jumped over the fence as soon as the guards moved away. She walked as carefully and quietly as she could, with no sound of her steps.
Moving swiftly in the dark as though the night breeze was controlling her body movement, she took on the guards on standby at every corner quietly one after the other without any sound.

She then entered the princess’s room quietly. The princess was asleep on her fancy bed. Timi moved closer. Just then, as though she felt the intensity of Timi’s gaze in her dream, she opened her eyes.

She saw Timi staring at her with her face half covered which made it difficult for her to recognize the intruder. She wondered how she made her way in with all the guards positioned at every corner of her quarters. Fear engulfed her.

Before she could scream, Timi moved sharply towards her, covered her mouth with great force that she could not let out air and hit her at the very delicate part of her head that she fainted.
Tony on the other hand also jumped over the fence quietly when the guards on patrol moved away.

One of the guards who seemed to be the leader noticed the absence of the guards on standby. As he was about to raise alarm, he heard movements in the darkness of the verandah behind him. Turning, he narrowed his eyes. He saw Tony, with his face partly covered with a black piece of cloth. He moved closer, others following.

Tony, realizing he had been seen, changed his gentle movement to boldness. “Who are you?” the leader asked. Tony gave a derisive laugh as the guards positioned their swords ready to fight him.

He moved closer as though he was ready to fight them with his bare hands. They rushed towards him. Suddenly, he swept his hand through his trousers as he brought out a gun which he had acquired from the city. He shot them dead except the leader. The gun seemed to make no alarming sound. He then returned the gun and faced the leader, ready to have a combat with him while waiting for Timi to return with the princess.

He moved sharply towards the leader, dodging the thrust of his sword. Catching the leader’s wrist, he drew the arm down and around, snapping it from the shoulder socket. The leader went down agonizing. Timi approached through the same route she went in.

This time, with the princess on her shoulder, unconscious. Seeing Timi, he brought out his gun again, pointed it at the leader’s forehead and pulled the trigger. They jumped over the fence out of the princess’s quarters as Tony relieved Timi of the unconscious princess.

They made their way out through a narrow street which led directly to the gate of the palace, carrying the princess with a wagon which they purchased on their way to the palace.
