BUK Set to Introduce Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
Plans to commence a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program with the introduction of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has been disclosed.
Prof Muhammad Yahuza, the Vice Chancellor of the Institution, made this revelation on Friday, 31st May, 2019 at the Senate Chamber while he was addressing a news conference during the rolling out of the schedule for the impending 35th Convocation ceremony.
He informed that the school authorities had already identified a suitable site that that would be perfect to host the structure for the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
In accordance with him, the particular period when the new programme will take off is not yet sacrosanct but all necessary preparations are being taken to include construction, recruitment of personnel and securing accreditation and approval from the regulatory agencies.
